Who is in charge of the executive branch?

The executive branch of the government is primarily headed by the President. This individual is responsible for implementing and enforcing laws, as well as overseeing the various agencies and departments that make up the executive branch. The President plays a crucial role in both domestic and foreign policy and is also the Commander in Chief of the armed forces.

In contrast, Congress, which is part of the legislative branch, is responsible for making laws, while the Supreme Court, part of the judicial branch, interprets laws and ensures they comply with the Constitution. The Vice President assists the President and can assume the presidency if the President is unable to fulfill their duties, but does not lead the executive branch.
